Tutorial on using the Analog Inputs

The RGB module has three analog inputs. Each input controls one of the colours. This tutorials will show you how to use three pots to control the colours manually.

Parts Required

- Piece of Veroboard
- 3 Potentiometers (I used 2k ones)
- 5 pieces of wire

Instructions

Connect the three potentiometers like in the schematic :

insert schematic here

Your board will look something like this:

Connect the 5 wires to the analog input pins (PWR,GND and 3 inputs). The first two pins are the power and ground.

Before putting on the power insert a jumper on the top two pins. This will enable the analog mode. When you now switch on the power to your modules you will be able to control the colours manually with the potentiometers. The return to cycle mode, switch off the module and remove the jumper before turning the power back on.
